After a massive year filled with shows, new music, festival stages, and milestone moments, Chloe Marks & The Mayhem are closing out 2025 with their biggest and boldest release yet. Following a surprise drop in October that teased a fresh new sound and left fans eager for more, the band returns with their 4th release for 2025! A powerful follow-up single that marks a new chapter in their musical evolution.

Chloe shares, “Cheaper Than Therapy is about my personal journey in finding out who I am. It’s about admitting my flaws, but also celebrating the incredible road I’ve had to walk to become this version of myself. It’s about spirituality, honesty, and openness.”

Having already shaken up the country scene and blurred the lines between traditional Americana and modern sounds, The Mayhem took on the challenge of stepping beyond genre boundaries, having blended country roots with the freedom of contemporary music.

Chloe continues, “With ‘Cheaper Than Therapy’ we really pushed ourselves to get outside of our creative comfort zone. We wanted to do things musically that we had never done before but also wanted to have fun with this song, and we wanted our listeners to experience that too.” Says Marks. “It feels like this song closes the chapter of 2025 and ties together everything we’ve released this year. I’ve always loved storytelling, and through the heartbreak of ‘Carolina,’ the desperation of ‘Skip September,’ and the raw emotion of ‘Porch Light,’ this track feels like the final piece of the puzzle - a beautiful, fun ending to this particular story.”

With Cheaper Than Therapy, Chloe Marks & The Mayhem are pushing the edges of country once again - fearless, authentic, and ready to redefine what the new era of country can sound like.
